Are you looking for new ideas for Indoor Cycling Class Profiles?

Hi! And thanks for checking out this page where I post links to my Indoor Cycling Class Profiles.

I post a Spinning ® / Indoor Cycling routine every week and link them back right here, so make sure you check back for more next week, or better yet – sign up to get my blog updates by e-mail and never miss another post with a cycling class routine or tips for indoor cycling instructors.

You might also like my collection of Indoor Cycling / Spinning® Playlists that I keep right here.

While you’re checking out these cycling routines, please keep in mind, that none of them constitutes a COMPLETE instruction plan for the class.

No matter how detailed they may seem, they’re all just “schematics” you can use to build your own unique Spinning ® / Indoor Cycling routine that would be a demonstration of your teaching style.

I just recently became a certified indoor cycling instructor. Very motivated & ready to put my learning to an actual practice. However, I’m so new to teaching & need all the help to land a part time job. I read your blog on the new to teaching. Very helpful – what clubs to I target!

  2. Could you please tell me where I can purchase the Police vs. Coldplay remix of Roxanne (Put on the Red Light). I love it and want to use it in class.

    Thanks!

    Mike

  5. Stumbled upon your blog Lena. Great resource for instructors looking to teach cycling in an effective, safe manner. Thanks! 🙂

  6. Thanks Lena for taking time to create this blog. I wish I could have stumbled upon this when I was a new instructor several years ago. I have been teaching for quite awhile now, but struggle sometimes to keep it fresh, so I appreciate the new ideas your blog gives me. It’s fantastic! Thanks for creating it!

    • Jennifer, it is my pleasure! Thank you for taking the time to send this message and please, feel free to share this blog with new instructors! Best of luck, Lena.

  7. Hey! 🙂
I’ve been taking a peek to your blog and it has some amazing material, it’s amazing how you’re multi talented and dedicated 🙂
This beeing said, I’d like to pick your brain on something i’ve been searching for but didn’t find anything in concrete.
I once saw a continued education of Spinning that was about aplying tabata to Spinning. Do you know how to build a profile like that taking in account the rules on creating a Spinning profile embedding tabata on it?

    Thanks in advance! 🙂

    • Hi Miguel! Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words. I regularly teach Tabata style routines and would love to answer any questions you might have.
Please, take a look at the Mentorship Program I offer here on the blog and we can set up a time to talk.
      Thanks again for visiting LeanLena.com!
      All the best,
      Lena.

I haven’t had a chance to try Hills & Sprints on a class yet, but looks like a fun profile to try. I’m not sure about the standing flats, I’m assuming very little resistance with high cadence?

    • Hi Sandra.Wrong 😊 Never stand with very little resistance. Never ride with very little resistance. It should be enough to safely stand up and not feel like a climb. Body position is also different from that of a standing climb.

  11. Hi. Loving your profiles ~ they are so helpful when I am stuck for ideas…
Specific help needed 🙂 I am looking for an 80s rock profile… need for 2 days time and because I am still new to spinning I cant create a profile this quickly. Average fitness ~ a group that used to do a bit of sport but haven’t in a while so dont want to scare them this early in the piece
    Any help hugely appropriated
    Cheers
    wendy

  12. Thanks for the share profile! I have not had chance to review them yet; however, I’m looking to review them soon! My schedule has been so busy with teaching and personal training.

  13. Hi! Can you walk me through the Class Builder App? I am trying to decide if I want to purchase it, but I definitely don’t want to use spotify. Is there a way to build a class with timing and not use a playlist? I want the app to count me out and give me cues but I use a different music service that is more affordable. Thanks in advance!

  14. Hi! Can you help me with the Class Builder App? I don’t want to purchase it until I know it will work for my needs. I do not want to use spotify. In fact, I would like to build the rides without music as I use my own playlists from a less expensive source. Is there a way to use the app to build the class/timing/cues without music? Thanks in advance.

  15. Omg thank you so much for the class profiles you sent, time saver and what fun! My class loved it.
