Ziploc Bag Marinated Chicken Legs Recipe

- 12 chicken legs or an equivalent amount of other chicken meat
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 cup mayo (home made or store bought)
- 1 tbsp. dried basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Gal. Ziploc bag
- Put chicken legs in Ziploc bag.
- Add onion, garlic, mayo, basil and pepper.
- Lock the bag and mix the contents well until the chicken is coated.
- Leave in the fridge for 8-24 hours. If you get a chance flip the bag over ever few hours.
- When ready to cook, preheat oven to 325F.
- Put the chicken legs into a greased 9x13 pan.
- Pour the leftover marinade on top. THEN add salt and mix well in the pan.
- Stick them in the oven and go about your normal household business.
- Bake for 60 minutes.
- Turn the broiler on for the last 3-5 minutes of baking time.
- Serve hot.
