Hey guys!
Since this week started off so awesomely amazing and threw all my blogging schedule off, this is not your usual Workout Wednesday post, BUT – it is fitness related.
Gonna drop some knowledge on you today π
Have you ever experienced the dilemma before going for a run/grocery shopping/picking up the kids/to the gym of whether or not you should bring your purse with you, or in case of workouts – what to do with all this stuff you need (car/house keys, phone, etc..) once you get to the gym?
Don’t answer, we all did. π
Well, I got a solution for you – FlipBelt.
I first heard about it from Carla. She mentioned on her blog (when she still had a blog…sigh) that she was using one and I clicked through to see what it was.
Shortly after that I got an opportunity to get one for free through the Fit Approach (Sweat Pink) network that I’m proud to be part of. So, I jumped at the opportunity and received a belt for free in exchange for my honest opinion about it.
So here’s the honest opinion.
IT ROCKS!
Here’s what it looks like:
How about I tell you of the ways you could use this handy little thing in your every day life?
{WORKOUTS}
I tried wearing mine on my runs.
Now, I was a little skeptical at first – and I think that’s understandable – there’s a lot of body movement involved.
- Will that belt slide up and down my waist as I run? Because that’s annoying.
- Is it going to chafe?
- Is it going to bounce?
The answers are: no, no and no!
However, you have to make sure you pick the right size – I tried both Large and Extra Large. The latter is too big for me and it did slide up and down as I ran because of that. The Large is just perfect for workouts! Stays in place, doesn’t bounce, doesn’t chafe.
So, take your time to measure your waist/hips and pick the right size belt to save you the trouble.
{WALKING}
I love going for walks. I do not like carrying things like a purse with me or having a lot of stuff in my pockets. I do like to have my phone (mapping my walk with FitBit app) and keys with me.
FlipBelt comes super handy when it comes to walking. I liked my Extra Large FlipBelt for walking – it wasn’t as tight on my hips and stayed in place because I wasn’t moving fast.
{RUNNING ERRANDS/GROCERY SHOPPING}
Going to the bank, picking up kids from school/activities – tuck your phone, keys, credit cards, cash into the FlipBelt and you’re set to go.
Can you believe how awesome this thing is when you go grocery shopping? Hands – free! No need to watch that purse in your cart. Immediate reaction to that little kid of yours trying to run away from you, or perform acrobatic tricks in your cart!
That’s a life changer for moms, I’ll tell you that.
Did I get your attention now? π

Have a wonderful Hump Day!
FlipBelt provided me with their product free of charge in exchangeΒ fot my honest opinion about it. Opinions in this post are 100% my own, FlipBelt and/or Fit Approach did not tell me what to say or influence my opinion in any way.
I’ve seen these before, and always thought they were genious! I on a regular day hate carrying a heavy purse in the summer. Nice to bring your phone, keys, metrocard and some cash when you head out.

I absolutely love mine. Not going for another workout without it – SO handy!
Thanks for stopping by to check it out, Farin.
I need one of these belts when I workout because my stuff is all of the place and this would make it quite easier.

This is the best time to buy it with that discount code! I’m sure you’ll love it.
Love my FlipBelt! Definitely need to make sure to get the right size, I had to return for a smaller one so it didn’t ride up when running. I don’t even have to Flip it when running, so I have easier access to my items. Nice review! #wowlinkup

What do you run with?
I have been using a fuel belt that holds my water and keys. It’s a little bulkier. I always thought my stuff would fall out of this kind

It won’t fall out, but I don’t think it can hold a water bottle though.
Ok it still puts me in the mindset of a fanny pack but I love the slim foot print! It actually make sense b/c I stuff tissue and keys in my sports bra where it gets MAD SWEATY!! LOLOL. You guys make this flipbelt look pretty nice.

Awesome, Michelle! My husband expressed some interest in the second one I got as it was a little too big for me π
I love my flip belt! Not bulky, doesn’t bounce, my headphones can still connect to my phone when it’s in the belt… It’s perfect. π
