Are you looking for new meal ideas? Are you torturing your family with the question “What would you like to eat?” every night? Look no further. These 7 meal ideas will give you a solid healthy plan for dinners for the whole week!
Hey guys! Happy Tuesday! It’s Linkup Party time!
Don’t forget to visit Jennifer, my co-host over at A Hungry Runner to see what she’s cooking today!
Today I decided to face my eternal struggle – what to make for dinner? Are you struggling with that creative crisis, too? ๐
Well, say “No more” to that.
The ideas below are all yours, my dear party attendees. I am featuring your wonderful recipes today to bring you this meal plan for the entire week of healthy and good-for-you food!
Let’s go!
7 Meal Ideas for 7 Days
{MONDAY}
Mondays in my house are usually super busy. I either teach my indoor cycling class or workout, the girl has her basketball practice from 6 to 8 PM so family dinner all together is kind of out of the question on Mondays – everybody eats at a different time (depending on when they get home). So, on Mondays crockpot saves our starving lives ๐
If your family has a busy schedule on Monday nights, try this Slow Cooker Asian Beef by Rachel over at Craving Some Creativity.
{TUESDAY}
Tuesday is usually the night I make dinner as I don’t have any teaching commitments or exercise plans. I usually make a dish involving fish or some sort of sea food. I’m thinking this beautiful Wild Caught Salmon with Couscous by Munchkin Time would be just perfect for my “fish night”!
{WEDNESDAY}
Wednesday night is always yoga night in my world ๐ So dinner on Wednesday is my hubby’s responsibility. He usually either grills something or goes all Mexican on us ๐ But I think he would love to makeย this recipe for Curried Pork in Phyllo by Jennifer aka A Hungry Runner.
ย {THURSDAY}
Thursday night it’s usually just hubby and I, and we both go to TRXยฎ (I teach and he takes my class), so Thursday night is officially a crock pot soup night in my house. Crock Pot because, you know – you come home to a hot dinner waiting for you, and Thursday – because my kids are not very big soup eaters while hubby and I are.
I think next Thursday I will be making this Slow Cooked Vegan Minestrone by Healthy Helper!
{FRIDAY}
If we have kids, Friday night is pizza night. Is it the same in your house?
Diatta over at Femme Fitale Fit Club has a great recipe for Cauliflower Crust Pizza that I would like to try and trick my kids into eating ๐
{SATURDAY}
Since everybody is usually at home on Saturday night and we have more time to make dinner, we cook something “fancy” or something that requires a little more time to prepare. I am contemplating these Smashed Sweet Potatoes by Yuliya over at Welcome to Mommyhood with pork chops or steaks:
{SUNDAY}
Dinners on Sunday are generally in the same “spirit” as Saturday – something that takes more time to cook, or something that we really like (like grilled pork ribs or chicken wings). I’m planning on bringing some variety to the table next week by making this Tex Mex Lasagna by Sourdough Native.

I love your selection of healthy recipes – it’s often pizza night in our house on Friday nights too – that cauliflower crust sounds awesome! I wonder if I can trick my kids into eating it too haha. Thanks for hosting this link up Lena ๐
