Hey-hey, guys! It’s Friday finally!
So it’s been a while since I shared anything about the things I like, what’s going on with my life these days, and all that – you know, fun stuff π
Looking at my blog’s front page lately I realized that all I’ve been posting about was Tasty Tuesdays and Cycling Class Profiles.
Time to share something else with you, like good ol’ days π What do you say?
So, here are 5 absolutely random things I’ve been loving lately (random = not related to each other at all).
{ONE} Polar
You probably noticed by now that I have a new badge in the right sidebar. I announced it on Facebook, but I didn’t share it here.
I am extremely excited, proud and honored to be selected as a brand Ambassador for Polar.
I can’t even begin to describe what an honor this is for me!
You guys know that my blog and social media pages looked like promotional sites for Polar FT40 anywayΒ because I use it all the time and LOVE it.
Also, as a Spinning Instructor, I understand the importance and benefits of the heart rate based training.
I think Polar and me will be a perfect match π Now meet my new friend – Polar RCX5 Bike Heart Rate Monitor (Red):
Christmas in October – thanks to Polar!
My old friend FT40 was passed on to one of my co-workers who really wanted to try heart rate training. It’s in good hands now… I’ll miss my old friend though – we had a lot of fun together π
I’m super excited to be representing such a great brand as Polar!
{TWO} Football
So, I’ve never been a big sports fan, anyway.
Being a soccer fan was once part of my job description, but that was a long time ago…
Growing up in a different country I really wasn’t that much into American football. I remember before moving here I talked to my friend who had lived in the States for years and she asked me if I had picked my team yet. Well, I had no idea what she was talking about back then.
Boy oh boy…Do I have an idea now…
My husband proudly calls himself a football widower now π He knows it’s his responsibility to make dinner every Sunday, and he can only talk to his wife at half time π
{THREE} Speck iPhone Cases
LOVE those things! I have two of them – one in black and one on raspberry pink/dark raspberry.
The huge advantage of this case is that it is a flip case that allows you to dock your iPhone without taking your case off.
I don’t know if it’s still an issue with the new iPhone 6, but I have an iPhone 5 and it is an issue alright for me. Taking the case off every night before going to bed so I could charge my iPhone on the dock? No more π
The case itself is super durable, but doesn’t make your phone feel like a brick in your hand.
Huge fan!
{FOUR} Eminence Clear Skin Line
Ok, guys – skip this one. Ladies – if you like great beauty products, you need this.
So I discovered this product line when my husband treated me to a spa at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego (I know, I was wishing for a husband like that, too before I married him).
Eminence Organic Skin Care line was what they used at the spa. The beauty technician there gave me a list of products she used on me that day before I left the place.
I got home and ordered them online. Here’s the list of things I ordered:
Eminence VitaSkin Clear Skin Priobiotic Cleanser 8.4 oz
Eminence Clear Skin Probiotic Moisturizer, 2 Ounce
Eminence Bright Skin Moisturizer SPF 30 – 2 Fl.oz (60 Ml )
Eminence Hungarian Herbal Mud Treatment 2oz(60ml)
Now, this stuff is WAY over my budget for the skin care products, but I gave in this time and I didn’t regret it – not for a second. In two weeks I’m see a HUGE improvement of my skin condition. I will not change this line for anything now.
It smells kinda funky though – it’s all organic, so no nasty chemicals to mask the natural smell. I will just have to deal with it.
It’s not that bad, really.
So there you have it – your items to go on the Christmas presents’ list for yourself π
{FIVE} Sanctuary Hotel, NYC
We stayed at this hotel on our latest trip to NYC for our wedding anniversary, and both hubby and I agreed that’s the best place we’ve ever stayed at in NYC.
Here’s just a few things we loved about the hotel:
- Awesome locations (walking distance from Times Square)
- The have free fruit infused water/coffee/tea at the lobby for their guests (it was VERY handy getting back to the hotel after a long walk around NYC because I just seemed to run out of water all the time).
- One night it was raining outside and they let us borrow an umbrella – the fact that the umbrella had the hotel logo on it makes it obvious that this is not just an act of kindness of the hotel employees, but also a standard service at the hotel – we saw a bunch of people with those umbrellas around the hotel.
- They have absolutely amazing rooftop bar!
- The have the coolest room service request tags I’ve ever seen π
And that’s my Five on Friday, guys π
Talk to me: what are the things you’ve been loving lately?
Congrats on your ambassadorship! (And the spa treatment and products sound amazing…) π
