Hey, my foodies! How is your week going so far? Hope you didn’t have too bad of a Monday π
Well, you know what day it is, right?Β Yep, Tasty Tuesday!
Every Tuesday I post a recipe, a collection of recipes, a restaurant review or anything related to food. There is then a linkup at the end of the post where you can add links to your food-related blog posts! The linkup stays open for a week β right until the next one comes around. How awesome is that?
Donβt forget to check out other link up participants and thereβs only one rule to the linkup – link back or grab the link up badge from the sidebar. Letβs spread the word so we can have more participants checking out your posts next week!
First off, I wanted to let you know that there is now the Tasty Tuesday Pinterest Board where you can pin your posts every week. To be able to do that, please follow me on Pinterest and let me know in comments that you did and your Pinterest username so I could send you an invite.
This week, in light of my latest challenge which is Whole30, I am posting a Whole30-friendly recipe here.
Whole30 pretty much bans all my favorite breakfast foods (oatmeal, avocado toast, PB toast, breakfast sandwiches) –Β I had to come up with a plan “B” when it comes to breakfast.
So last Sunday I made a bunch of turkey-ginger breakfast patties for an easy grab-and-go breakfast. Add some boiled eggs and vegetables of your choice and you got yourself a wonderful breakfast free of processed crap. Here’s how:
INGREDIENTS:
- Ground turkey
- 2 eggs
- Fresh cilantro, chopped coarsely
- 1-2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
HOW TO:
Preheat the oven to 350Β°F
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until well combined
Line a cooking sheet with foil and lightly grease with olive oil
Form patties and place them on the sheet (I made 6 big ones, remember they’ll shrink when cooked)
Bake for 20-30 minutes (10-15 minutes on each side).
Broil for the last 5 minutes.
Let cool down, refrigerate or freeze for later.
Enjoy!
And that’s it! How easy is that? Mix, pop them in the oven, take out, eat! π
Spread the love:
Now your turn! Link up your tasty posts below, my dears! I can’t wait to read what tasty foods you ate π
Have a wonderful week and eat well.
Oh my word, these just look divine! Andddd so easy. These are just my kind of recipe and I’m pretty sure I’d be able to convince my kid to eat meat in this form π Happy second day of whole 30! Only 28 to go π

I would have never thought to make them for breakfast patties! What a great idea. I love to make turkey burgers, but I’m always struggling with breakfast foods.

It’s really not that hard and very rewarding to come up with new breakfast ideas – changes things up a little π
Looks delicious and so simple – but how much ground turkey did you use?

Amy, I used about 1.5 lb, but it’s not that important, you can pretty much alter any quantities of anything in this recipe.
These sound delicious with the cilantro and ginger. I would’ve never thought to have these for breakfast instead of dinner, but it sounds like a good idea to me!

Thank you, Laura!
I think these could work for any meal π At least I could eat them at any meal π
Thanks for stopping by today!
This is GENIUS, I never thought to eat turkey FOR BREAKFAST and baking them makes them more like patties as opposed to burgers. I probs won’t eat this for breakfast (oat obsessed) BUT it’s a new dinner idea (brinner!)

So glad you liked the idea π Het, it makes a good addition to lunch, too! And who said it can’t be on a burger? π Yes, it can!
