Hey my dears! Happy Motivation Monday to you!
Let’s see what I did in the past week exercise-wise, shall we? 🙂
So last Monday I went to my regular spin class with Jim.
A nice, well paced class with just enough difficulty to encourage you to push out of your comfort zone! I love myself some spinning and, oh my god, the music he plays is just amazing!
Tuesday night was PT night!
That Tuesday was a particularly calorie burning night 🙂
Wednesday – a great weight lifting and strength training with Jim! He says I am making progress. I do feel leaner! 🙂
Yeah…check out my “war wounds”!
Thursday – we had a yoga class at work during lunch hour. I love those – get done with your workout at midday and you have evening free! Don’t have many of those for sure.
Yeah…Being done with the workout for the day would have been nice but I had a PT session scheduled that night. Turned out to be a pretty good one!
And…(drumroll)…my PT said we’re going to try running this week!!!! On the treadmill, at their gym, with them videotaping me, but hey – who cares? I might be able to run again!
All this is supposed to happen on Thursday this week, and I have to go get myself the right running shoes at the Appalachian Running Company before that.
Oh, so exciting!!!! YEY!!!
Friday – you know, right? Friday night is ALWAYS yoga night 🙂
Friday was also a bad news from Weight Watchers day – I gained 2 lb…Oh well 🙂 I exercised every day that week and my muscles were still sore when I had the weigh in. Got a “Bravo” star for exercising every day that week though.
Saturday – I got a little off track with my usual Saturday Double (spinning + yoga) lately, and this Saturday it was time to bring it back ON! So I did 🙂
Wonderful, exhausting and hard spinning class with Michelle – 13.5 hard sweaty miles before 9 a.m.:
followed by a relaxing yoga class with Jim:
On Sunday my family folk was all busy re-arranging furniture in their rooms and cleaning up, so I went for my independent session of weight lifting and strength training. Not as much fun as doing it with Jim, but still good for figuring out my way around the weights room:
Motivated to go exercise yet? No? Well, here you go then – a difference one year can make:
Happy Motivation Monday, my friends! Stay fit!
Wow! You had a great week! 🙂
Question: at WW, are you on a regular scale or a body fat scale? Because, you know, muscle weighs more. So, maybe those 2 pounds are muscle! 🙂 Just saying – I think you look great, you work hard, you eat well. Maybe don’t focus so much on the number. Focus instead on the way you feel, the way your clothes fit, the size of your satisfied smile….. 🙂
Hey Jennifer! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
I am on a regular scale at WW meetings. I am not stressing out too much about those 2 lb…Trying out WW at work for free and keeping in mind that I need my nutrients since I work so hard 🙂 I feel great and I fit into pants I got when I was a freshman at college 🙂 So, I’m pretty happy as long as I stay motivated and keep working.
Glad to hear from you, party girl 😉
