Hey guys! How is your week going?
Mine’s been great so far – hubby is back from his business trip and everything is right in my world now 🙂
As you can see, I am back on my blogging schedule here and that means what? Yep, that means Thursdays are for TRX Workout posts!
TRX Workout Plan: Trent – 45 Minutes – Tabata Inspired
Today’s TRX workout is Tabata inspired and targets mostly lower body and core.
Here’s what sections this TRX workout consists of:
Warm up – 30 seconds on/10 seconds off for the total of 5:50.
The main part of the class consists of 10 “Tabatas” each of which consists of 5 rounds – 20 seconds on/10 seconds off of the same exercise, and a minute of rest after each round.
Some of my favorites from this TRX Workout are:
Hamstring Curls. I use this exercise a lot! It is a wonderful way to work the hamstrings.
TRX Step Side Lunge – I use this one every class during warm up because it is such a great mobility exercise and a great stretch. In this class (Tabata #9) I used the second progression shown in the video, and the first step of the progression for the warm up.
Cool Down – 4:40 of cool down and stretching exercises.
