Climbing it: King of the Mountains (Cycling Class Profile)
Climbing is my most favorite part of an indoor cycling or Spinning class. It is such a great drill to make those legs stronger and use the power you already have in them to push yourself a little further!Continue Reading

Fried Rice: How to Cook it Perfectly
Hey guys! Happy Tasty Tuesday!
Loooong time ago, I spent 3 months working as a tour guide in Thailand. Apart from hard work, partying and loads of fun, I will always remember living in this country because they had THE BEST fried rice ever! I watched them make it thousand times, and then I tried making it myself another thousand times, and still did not come quite as close to the original as I wanted to.
Anyway, today I want to share my fried rice recipe with you – it is as perfect as it gets with me, folks. The recipe for making the rice itself (before you fry it) is by my wonderful husband, and what I do with the leftovers – my own business 🙂 So, here we go!
Programs to Help New Indoor Cycling Instructors
Hey guys! Happy Wednesday to you!
Today’s post is indoor cycling related, but it is not your regular indoor cycling class profile. It’s something new. And different. And exciting!
Lean Lena is launching two new programs for indoor cycling instructors.
I have created both these programs to help new indoor cycling instructors who just recently got certified and have more questions than answers, and could use some help from someone who has been in their shoes not so long ago.
Without further ado… Introducing…
Lemon-Cilantro Shrimp Pasta Recipe
Lemon and cilantro is a perfect combination in my opinion – whether you want to use it on rice, spaghetti or zoodles. Next time you feel like it – make this Lemon-Cilantro Shrimp Pasta. Serve on spaghetti or zucchini noodles.
Metabolic Blast TRX Workout – Denise – 30 Minutes
Metabolic Blast TRX Workout is what I called this one – simply because it will get your system going – it is that challenging and that fun to work through.
Raspberry-Peach Cobbler Recipe
This is the easiest and the quickest Raspberry-Peach Cobbler recipe you have ever seen. It is extremely delicious and comes together in just under an hour!
Station Based TRX Class Format – Jennifer
Sharing a station based TRX class format today where groups of your students move from one station to the other in class. Challenging, fun and offering plenty of opportunity for students to interact with each other, this class format might just become your favorite!
Indoor Cycling Class: Run, Baby, Run
Running (also referred to as a Standing Flat) is a drill that doesn’t get the attention it deserves in my opinion. Not only it is challenging to perform, but also offers a great opportunity to improve pedaling technique while standing, develop endurance and work on smooth transitions in and out of the saddle. I decided to focus a whole ride on this great drill. See how it turned out!
